Abstract

In light of the growing risks of natural or human disasters 
significantly during the past few years until now, as a result of 
climatic changes and the accompanying extreme natural 
phenomena that often reach, if they intersect with valuable 
architectural heritage structures, the occurrence of disaster risks, 
whose devastating impact is not limited to structures 
Architectural heritage, rather, it reaches the surrounding urban 
environment and destroys the green and dry, and thus it has 
become one of the most important disaster risks that threaten the 
annihilation of the architectural heritage in the current era.
From the above, the importance of research in the preventive 
sustainable preservation of the architectural heritage and the 
prevention, mitigation or limitation of the various negative 
effects when exposed to disaster risks, and care in the first place 
to reduce the risks that affect the heritage values contained in 
heritage buildings and their originality, completeness and 
sustainability with time amid various risks The surrounding 
environment, whether it is environmental risks of a rapid 
catastrophic nature or environmental risks of slow impact, in 
addition to the preservation of human life, assets and material 
properties of value and economic benefit.
